Experimental Designs and Data Analysis

Statistical applications to industry have become popular in Taiwan.  One of the important areas, is in experimental design and the resulting data analysis.  My main research are in those topics which come from problems in industrial applications.

To establish good designs for various experiments is important for engineers.  Due to the difference of experimental situations, different methods for setting up designs need  investigation.  The cost of level changes and the trend-free property for estimated effects have recently concerned many practitoners and researchers.  I have studied many articles in this area and published some related articles.

The correct analysis of the resulting data from experiments is also important.  A inference based on an incorrect analysis might result in a great loss.  I have investigated many existing analysis procedures and established some easy and correct analysis procedures for practical use.  My future research will remain in this area for a while.
